American Assembly of IAAM Fellow Summit

Convened alongside the 70th Assembly of IAAM Fellows under the theme: “Advancing Materials for Manufacturing, Digitalization, and Innovation.”

BRIDGING THE IAAM FELLOWSHIP WITH THE U.S. RESEARCH ECOSYSTEM

The International Association of Advanced Materials (IAAM) is pleased to convene the IAAM Fellow Summit for U.S. Researcher Engagement — a dedicated parallel event designed to bring together IAAM Fellows and leading U.S.-based researchers for high-level scientific exchange, strategic networking, and future collaboration.

Inspired by the established IAAM Fellow Summit model, this gathering offers a focused forum where distinguished researchers from academia, industry, and innovation-driven organizations can share emerging directions in advanced materials, nanotechnology, sustainability, and translational research — and forge the partnerships that will define the next decade of American materials science.

ABOUT THE SUMMIT

The IAAM Fellow Summit is recognised as a premier forum that brings together top researchers and industry participants through intensive sessions, consortium meetings, and technical discussions to foster collaboration and high-quality outcomes. The U.S. Researcher Engagement edition extends this model to the American research community, deepening the connection between the global IAAM Fellowship and the U.S. innovation landscape.

This event will emphasize research excellence, interdisciplinary dialogue, and partnership building — strengthening engagement between the IAAM community and the broader U.S. research ecosystem across federal, academic, and industrial sectors.

FOCUS AREAS

The Summit will convene leading voices around four converging frontiers:

  • Advanced Materials — frontier research shaping the next generation of functional, structural, and quantum materials.
  • Nanotechnology — including the rapidly emerging science of nanobubbles and nanoscale systems for energy, environment, and health.
  • Sustainability — materials innovation aligned with circular economy, decarbonisation, and resilient infrastructure.
  • Translational Research — bridging laboratory discovery with manufacturable, market-ready technologies.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

  • IAAM Fellows and Senior Fellows
  • U.S.-based researchers from academic and national laboratories
  • R&D leaders, CTOs, and innovation directors from materials and manufacturing industries
  • Representatives of federal agencies, funding bodies, and policy institutions
  • Early-career researchers and emerging scientists engaged in advanced materials
